Center was created in the year of 2001 and was responsible for rendering educational cervices in improving the level of the latest computer knowledge and knowledge in latest informational technologies to the university staff members as well as to those willing with higher or secondary education.

Spheres of qualification improvement:

• modern computer technologies in the world;
• modern computer technologies in the office;
• net administration;
• programming;
• geoinformation systems and technologies;
• information security and protection of personal data; 1Ñ: Accounting.

Training is conducted by skilled teachers with international certificates of Microsoft and Novell, specially prepared and trained in authorized educational center "QuasarMicro".

Upon finishing the short term training period the students receive the document without giving a qualification. Students with long term training period receive additional certificate of the specialist upon successful examinations.
